If you looked at the main Stained Glass page you’ll have seen the Church Glass window that my Dad had salvaged for me many years ago.   That salvaged glass was used to make this lamp for my Mom’s Birthday and Mother’s Day in 2014.   Being my first stained glass lamp shade, there was a big learning curve.

Reinforcement was challenging and I also learned how to replace a broken piece of glass in a finished shade.   It was the first repair like that but certainly won’t be the last!   We got lucky and found two 12″ prairie style lamp bases and used one of them for this lamp.   I’m including a gallery of photos of the process of building this lamp.
